{Invictus}

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

{176 sq ft apartment}

And I thought some of the places I lived, when I lived in NY, were small.

The part that I just love is that this tiny apartment cost this couple $150, 000. Gotta love New York.

{Chic at any age}

I've always wanted to age to be one of those chic women who look polished no matter what age their drivers license says.

I luv her and the show

Im sitting in bed and trying to wind down from the day. Everything pretty much went as planned. Work, as usual, was pretty mundane and boring. Coming home was pretty typical as well. Diet wise it went- so so. I had a few slip ups when I felt I just had too many cravings. Luckily though I chose healthy things to satisfy my cravings but I still hate it when I give in. I felt like I ate to late into the evening but what can I do about that now.

Tomorrow is technically going to be my Friday, woo hoo. I chose to randomly take Friday off as a vacation day to just kinda lay around and bum. Its also supposed to snow here in Austin on Friday so that might be kinda fun too. Off to bed.

Sweater Coat

Winter is upon us and the weather man says it might snow on Friday. Thus I thought this super cute sweater coat was perfect for drinking hot cholocate on the couch. Plus its a great price.

Healthy Snack - 63 calories

This is my new favorite snack. I am simply in love with it. It leaves me very satisfied and makes me feel good about not over indulging with the calories. I usually eat two of these because I use half a cheese wedge per slice of bread.
Ingredients:
1. Nature's Own Light Whole Wheat Bread - 40 calories a slice
2. half a Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedge (I like Herb & Garlic)- (35 calories for a whole wedge)
3. Few slices of Cucumber (half a cup of sliced cucumber is 7 calories)
4. Pepper to taste

Plus Size insperation

I have always found that its very hard to feel "elegant" in a bigger size. This dress though is so cute and basic and you could do so many things with it. I just fell in love with it. Maybe I will gift it to myself and at less than $70 its a great deal. You can even pair it with a cute cardigan to tone down the "dressy" aspect of it and wear it on a regular day.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”
